Join Overton Square on Sunday, June 30, for our annual family-friendly Independence Celebration in Chimes Square! Enjoy the rockin' sounds of the 129th Army Band from Nashville during this free outdoor concert and celebration from 7 - 9 p.m.
There will be a vintage fire truck on hand and you can pop into the Amurica Photo Booth for a memento of the fun, cool off by the misting fans and enjoy kid-friendly crafts. Mili's Flowers And Gifts Flower Truck will also be there.
A selection of snacks, local beers, and seasonal refreshments will be available for purchase, including adult beverages from The TapBox and burgers and hot dogs grilled up by Belly Acres. Folding chairs and blankets are welcome; no coolers or outside alcoholic beverages, please.
This concert is free and open to the public.
The Independence Celebration is proud to welcome back Alpha Omega Veterans Services, Inc., helping Memphis' homeless and disabled military veterans through support services.
