'Peter and the Starcatcher' Closes

  • The Circuit Playhouse 51 Cooper Street Memphis, TN, 38104 United States (map)

Best described as a grownup’s prequel to Peter Pan, Peter and the Starcatcher begins when young starcatcher-in-training, Molly, meets an orphan boy longing for a home of his own. Together, the duo embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Join them as they discover how the captain got that famous hook, how a young boy named Peter became the boy who wouldn’t grow up, and how one courageous young woman can change the fate of the world. A dozen talented actors play over 100 different characters in this Tony Award-winning play with music that is sure to have you leaving the theatre grinning from ear-to-ear.

Leading the show as The Boy is Associate Company Member Dane Van Brocklin (American Idiot, Carrie the Musical), and joining him as the brave and daring Molly is Associate Company Member Maggie Robinson (Peter Pan; Carrie the Musical). Other members of this strong ensemble cast include Resident Company Members David Foster (Peter Pan; Assassins) as Black Stache and Michael Gravois (The Country House; The Other Place) as Mrs. Bumbrake/Teacher. Bill Andrews (Peter Pan; The Rocky Horror Show) joins them as Molly’s father, Lord Aster. Peter and the Starcatcher is directed by Bob Hetherington and choreographed by Jordan Nichols.
