Prohibition may have ended in 1933, but Tennessee state laws prevented restaurants from brewing and selling beer until 1992, when the law was finally changed. This change led to the opening of Tennessee’s first brewpub, Boscos, The Restaurant for Beer Lovers, right here in Memphis, TN.

Hattiloo Theatre is one of few free-standing, independent Black theaters in America. The company honors its responsibility to celebrate the cultural contributions Blacks have made to the nation's cultural canon by producing plays by Black playwrights and showcasing the talents of Black performers in non-Black works.
