Memphis businesses want to say thank you to the 20,000+ runners participating in the St. Jude Marathon this weekend. Here’s a list of local spots offering discounts to runners.
The Art Project Memphis (in Overton Square) will give 20% off retail items if runners show their bib. (I’m not sure which days this offer is good for…)
Bikram Yoga & Inferno Hot Pilates at Overton Square will offer a free Pilates or yoga class to all marathon participants. (Call ahead to make sure of dates and availability)
Delta Groove Yoga will offer 25% off any item in the boutique on Saturday or Sunday if you have a Marathon bib.

This Saturday marks the sixth annual Small Business Saturday and local shops, such as those in Overton Square, are preparing for the day that has become increasingly important to local economies across the nation.
"Being active on Small Business Saturday and every other day just stimulates your economy," Leena Mincey with Sweet Noshings said. "What it does is creates jobs for everybody."
