The free family-friendly movie series in the Overton Square courtyard — now known as Chimes Square — concludes with "The Sandlot," a nostalgic 1993 comedy about a baseball-loving gang of kids in 1962, when the legends of Babe Ruth and a backyard monster still had power. More or less ignored during its original release, the movie in the quarter-century since has become a beloved word-of-mouth "mainstream cult" classic.
