Former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins and entrepreneur and philanthropist Edward Bogard are opening a restaurant called Bogard in Overton Square, according to landlord Loeb Properties.
The "upscale'' restaurant will occupy 2110 Madison, where Schweinehaus and, more recently, Stanley Bar-B-Q operated. Construction on the 3,790-square-foot building is to start next month.
Loeb Properties was represented by Aaron Petree, CCIM; BOGARD was represented by Barry Maynard of LRG.
Bogard will serve Southern-inspired dishes and cocktails in a "unique'' Memphis dining experience. For every meal purchased, another meal will be provided for a person in need through a strategic partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank, the Loeb release states.
