November 4, 2017: Chili Cook-Off to benefit The Exceptional Foundation
Put your judging hat on, and get ready to taste some chili at the The Exceptional Foundation’s Chili Cook-Off. This family-friendly event at The Courtyard at Overton Square will benefit the West Tennessee Chapter of The Exceptional Foundation. Taste all the chilis, and cast a vote for your favorite! Teams are competing for the coveted first place trophy, so be sure to make your taste buds heard. Tasting begins at 10 a.m., and winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. Entry is free, but chili-tasting wristbands are $10. efwtn.org
November 10, 2017: Live Shakespeare Double Feature at Overton Square Tower Courtyard
Overton Square will host the season finale of the Free Shout Out Shakespeare Series by the Tennessee Shakespeare Company! The company will perform Julius Caesar at 5:30 p.m., immediately followed by Romeo and Juliet at 8 p.m. It’s a Shakespeare double feature! The event is free and open to the public. tnshakespeare.org
