Loeb to renovate Square building; YoLo moving down Madison

Overton Square's landlord plans to redesign and expand what is perhaps the entertainment district's dullest-looking building, the one that houses YoLo Frozen Yogurt and Lenny's Sub Shop.

The changes to the 48-year-old strip center anchoring the southeast corner of Cooper and Madison mean that YoLo will move by this fall. The substantially expanded space will be more suitable for a restaurant, said Ciara Neill, spokeswoman for Loeb Properties.

YoLo will move several blocks west to 1906 Madison, according to a representative of the YoLo ownership as well as Mark Weber, who owns 1906 Madison with his wife Donna.

The shop will expand its varieties of frozen yogurts and gelatos so much that it will be rebranded YoLo 100, for the more than 100 flavors and more than 100 types of toppings, the company representative said.
