9 Ways To Cope With Election Night In Memphis

Whatever your political leanings, this year’s Presidential election has been…stressful. “Dumpster fire” might be a better description, but I’m trying to keep things sort of positive.

If you are looking for ways to cope with the stress of Election Night aka Tuesday, November 8, 2016, here are some ideas, including charity events, parties, and other things you can do if you don’t want to Get Blackout Drunk And Cry.*

Also, today (November 3, 2016) is the last day for early voting. I can’t stress how important it is for Memphis to get out and vote this year! Even if you’re not into the Presidential candidates, there are several local races and resolutions that are up for a vote. Just do it.

7. Election Night Madness Party, Schweinehaus, Tuesday 3 p.m. – Wednesday 2 a.m., free to enter, all ages
Schweinehaus will host an election watch party, if you want some tasty food and brews while you watch the results (sound will be on). They’ll have some games and such, too.
