Ride the Roo, an unprecedented transportation service connecting the key Midtown neighborhoods of Overton Square and Cooper Young, is now available to patrons on Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, and Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. The Roo stops for passenger pick-up and drop-off throughout the Overton Square and Cooper Young neighborhoods.

This service by Premier Transportation Services serves restaurant goers, theater goers, retail shoppers, bar hoppers, and the folks who are just simply interested in enjoying the nightlife of these two vibrant neighborhoods. The one-of-a-kind vehicle is unique in Memphis. 

The 17-passenger bus plays exclusively Memphis music inside the vehicle for guests’ enjoyment and features wheelchair accessibility and additional standing room with hand grips. The vehicle is also GPS-enabled, allowing riders to track the vehicle’s location via the mobile-optimized website.
